Actor.

@gktdfug

Ah bugger. It was a sly brag. I do.

Anything and everything, from how to pitch the perfect presentation, to haircare tips, to genetic disease.

whosaidtha · 28/08/2022 18:38

Zoo keeper

Suzi888 · 28/08/2022 18:38

Running a rescue centre, employing a ton of staff and paying extremely high wages to them- to live in on a rota basis.

Currently volunteering but I don’t know how much longer I can do it, once school resumes and I’m working 37 hours again. Unless I just permanently decrease my hours- very bad timing though. My current job is well paid, but it’s draining my soul and making me very unhappy.

What?!

What?!

I wondered why earlier comments didn't pick up on that. Bit random.

Ladybyrd · 28/08/2022 18:59

@Suzi888 I did a job I hated for 25 years and it was only through sheer I luck got out. I could easily have ended up drifting along in misery for another 35. I hope you find a way.

@Ladybyrd - thank you.
I’ll probably be in a better position once DD is older- fingers crossed.

nonwonderwoman · 28/08/2022 19:08

A dancer in the cast of a west end show (can't really dance to that level but always looks such fun!!)

Bloodybridget · 28/08/2022 19:08

I'm well past retirement now, but in another life I would have loved to be an ethnomusicologist.

Really?

ShowOfHands · 28/08/2022 19:28

I'd like to work in a museum, particularly one with a focus on social history but any museum would do. Having visited Beamish Open Air Museum this week, I would work there for zero pay. Wish I'd realised years ago.

monicagellerbing · 28/08/2022 19:28

Midwife

nancy75 · 28/08/2022 19:29

My absolute dream job that’s never going to happen but I would love?
storm chaser!

DreamToNightmare · 28/08/2022 19:35

When I was a child I wanted to be a writer and a midwife.

I’m now in a job that is loosely related to midwifery but a million times better (in my opinion) which I love so so much, and I write novels in my spare time.

I didn’t go too far wrong.

I work in museums and we are always looking for volunteers!

Newsernames · 28/08/2022 21:54

Drummer or a physicist at CERN or similar. Or someone very expert but very hands on at Kew Gardens.

SadLovedGirl · 28/08/2022 22:13

I'd love to own a shop selling colouring books and packs of colouring pencils, pens and other accessories.
I'd spend all day colouring and demonstrating pencils etc although I think I'd employ someone to do all the business stuff as I'd be rubbish at that.

Vecnasnurse · 28/08/2022 22:16

Yoga teacher. Easy enough to do, but I'd like to be an extremely well paid one!
