Given that London isn't on the coast, I think finding a sealife rescue may be a challenge. However, I may be underestimating London.

So, you’ve bought a live crab from an industry whose sale of live crabs you disapprove of. You don’t know what to do with it, so you’ve likely condemned it to a far less humane death than if it had simply been thrown into a cooking pot.

And how are you going to look after it until you find this said sea life rescue in Central London? You will end up prolonging its life but actually being rather cruel rather than putting it out of its misery quickly.

A sea life rescue isn’t going to take a live crab you bought at a fish market. Bloody hell.

I’m not sure a sealife centre would have the resources to look after crabs people have bought from the fishmongers. This seems a very poorly thought out rescue on your part..

Lol are you going to go to the fish market every day and keep buying the crabs? Why is this one special? So you paid into the industry you claim to dislike. You have also now got a creature you can't look after.

Put a note on your local fb page “I have a live crab bought from the fish market and given to me but I’m a vegan. If anyone would like to take it off my hands please do.”

Someone will come and get it and it will make a perfectly delicious meal for someone.

And tell whoever gave it to you not to be so bloody stupid in future, and that they’ve prolonged the crab’s suffering not made things any easier for it.
