Can’t find a drink to quench my thirst

What are you drinking in this weather?

I’ve had two cups of tea, lots of water and an ice lolly. I don’t like anything fizzy and I’m not keen on squash. What do you find is the best drink to quench your thirst on days like this?

room temperature water for me

CornishGem1975 · 10/08/2022 19:55

My thirst quencher is always really cheap apple juice. Not the cloudy stuff.

ElbowsandArses · 10/08/2022 19:55

Water?

AnyFucker · 10/08/2022 19:56

Corona (lager)

Carrieonmywaywardsun · 10/08/2022 19:57

Thick juice-usually with mango in. Tesco and Lidl do good ones IIRC. You can always water it down slightly.
Elderflower cordial in still water is refreshing.
Lemon ice water
Peppermint tea, chilled is lovely too

Mumdiva99 · 10/08/2022 19:57

Use juice like squash to flavour water. (So very weak apple juice and water or orange juice and water), lime squeezed in ice cold water.
Elderflower cordial.
Ice Cold tea with sweetener and lemon.

MyLifeIsFictional · 10/08/2022 19:57

Cold water. You should be drinking 6-8 glasses per day of water (this included water in tea, coffee, squash etc)

DinasCopUniform · 10/08/2022 19:58

Iced water with a slice of lemon in it. No better drink in the hot weather imo.

WaitingForWinter1 · 10/08/2022 19:58

water with lots of ice

RedRec · 10/08/2022 19:59

Roses Lime juice cordial. Iced and not too strong. Perfect.

northernshite · 10/08/2022 20:04

Shandy with alcohol free beer for me

KellyGrayson · 10/08/2022 20:08

Got to be some peach iced tea

LionessesRules · 10/08/2022 20:09

If you really cant quench your thirst, I'd go for really weak fruit juice - maybe 20% orange/apple/whatever juice, and the rest water. With something salty as well.

I just couldn't quench my thirst after an operation until I'd had some salt and sugar- and I'm not usually one who feels thirsty.

Arnaquer · 10/08/2022 20:10
