For drinking that is. Not showers.

Just curious after a discussion with a friend who is French and will only drink room temperature water.

Ice cold. I hate it in summer when it comes out of the tap warm.

MrsOwainGlyndŵr · 30/07/2022 19:59

Room temperature.
Same for tomatoes and strawberries.

Lipsandlashes · 30/07/2022 20:00

Ice cold. I have water out of the fridge and then add ice

RoseOud · 30/07/2022 20:01

I hate ice cold water. I prefer it room temperature or even lukewarm to ice cold.
I tend to drink about 6 pints a day.

It's the only drink I like that way, I like soft drinks ice cold.

DoingJustFine · 30/07/2022 20:01

Room temperature unless it's a boiling hot day and it's wine.

Nanalisa60 · 30/07/2022 20:04

Ice cold, in the summer I have a jug in the fridge, as I hate the tap water when it luck warm.

AbsoluteShambles · 30/07/2022 20:05

Room temperature.

LunaLemon · 30/07/2022 20:05

Room temperature

Ilovefluffysheep · 30/07/2022 20:06

Ice cold, can't drink room temperature water.

HelloChompy · 30/07/2022 20:07

Ice cold from the fridge, I really dislike it room temperature 😬

BabCNesbitt · 30/07/2022 20:08

Room temperature. Ice cold water gives me a stabbing headache. I hate the default ice in soft drinks too.

SageMist · 30/07/2022 20:08

Neither. I like it as it comes out of the tap after it's been running for 20 seconds or more. Which is normally colder than room temperature but not ice cold.

LubaLuca · 30/07/2022 20:09

Tap that's been run for a bit temperature, or room temperature with ice in it. Not as warm as room temperature, but not icy cold.

MissMarplesNiece · 30/07/2022 20:10

Room temperature. I can't swallow anything ice cold, it hurts my throat.

CandyLeBonBon · 30/07/2022 20:10

Room temp

DahliaMacNamara · 30/07/2022 20:12

Cold as you can get it without it actually being ice. Love it.

avocadotofu · 30/07/2022 20:23

Definitely ice cold! I hate room temperature water.

DappledThings · 30/07/2022 20:36

Room temp. I like most of my drinks about the same temp really. So water, soft drinks non-fridgerated and without ice and tea/coffee has to be left for ateast 15 minutes, usually 20 to be drinkable. 45 is past optimum but still acceptable.

notprincehamlet · 30/07/2022 20:40

Tepid

Titsywoo · 30/07/2022 20:43

Ice cold - this is why I got a fridge with cold water dispenser and ice maker. Just can't drink it room temp - bleugh.

A580Hojas · 30/07/2022 20:48

Appatently room temperature is "better" for you but I would literally never drink any cold drinks unless they were ice cold. So in view of better to be hydrated than not I'll carry on adding loads of ice to all my cold drinks, even in winter, even including wine.

DimplesToadfoot · 30/07/2022 20:49

My teeth rule me on this one. Room temperature every time. Even as a child I refused to eat cold puddings, ice cream. Ice lollies, jelly etc as they all hurt my teeth.

Greensleeves · 30/07/2022 20:49

Ice cold. Tepid water is disgusting.

ditalini · 30/07/2022 20:50

Tap cold, so somewhere in between if I want to chug it. Ice cold for sipping.

Kite22 · 30/07/2022 20:51

Out the fridge, or with ice in it.
