If you've not got any greys yet...

How old are you? I'm late 30s and still to find one! I don't know why, but every time I go to the hair dresser I always ask her if she's found any greys Blush

My mum and sisters all got their first greys around 18/20 years old so I'm beginning to think I'm adopted lol!

Watch this, I'm going to wake up tomorrow with about 50 of them Wink

45 but it's genetic. My mum is mid 70s and hardly has an grey hairs

Wherehaveyouhiddenthebiscuits · 27/07/2022 22:11

I only got my greys after having children.

Icecreamandapplepie · 27/07/2022 22:12

First one at 40. Still only a few (although increasing!) at 44

TheFlis12345 · 27/07/2022 22:12

Not a single grey hair at 44 but also genetic, both sides of my family barely go grey and when they do, it’s usually in their late 60”s.

StopFeckingFaffing · 27/07/2022 22:15

I'm 47 and don't have any greys on my head but I do have several white wiry pubes 🙈

Kids2Hounds2 · 27/07/2022 22:15

I honestly thought this wa going to be a thread about greyhounds…oops

MrsMigginsCat · 27/07/2022 22:16

50 but must be genetic as DM is very nearly 80 and only has the odd grey hair.

DramaAlpaca · 27/07/2022 22:16

I'm 58 and don't have any, but my 86 year old mother only has a few so it's genetic.

MolliciousIntent · 27/07/2022 22:16

I'm 29 and currently don't have any.

BUT when I was early 20s and working a truly miserable job, I had 5 really prominent ones along my parting. I plucked them all out the week after I quit said miserable job, and they never grew back.

scrambledeggsandbeans · 27/07/2022 22:18

Just turned 50 no gray hairs. I think I'm very lucky I've never had to dye my hair.

BerylBird · 27/07/2022 22:18

I'm 48 and my hair is exactly the same colour it's always been.

2pinkginsplease · 27/07/2022 22:20

I don’t remember my mum having any other colour of hair apart from grey. I first dyed my hair at 40 to hide my roots and if I didn’t do that my hair would all be grey.

RogersOrganismicProcess · 27/07/2022 22:22

42 and riddled with them. They are impossible to disguise too; about twice as thick as normal hair, and the texture and appearance of an attention seeking mega pube!

Wond3rment · 27/07/2022 22:25

50, no greys. Also one with no grey genes. I’m actually quite proud of having no greys as everything else is gone to hell

MmeHennyPenny · 27/07/2022 22:27

When I had my baby out in her pram for the first or second time a well meaning but mistaken lady said to me. “ We Grannys are useful when mum needs a break aren’t we?”.
I was 39 at the time but had very grey hair.
It upset me.

MissyCooperismyShero · 27/07/2022 22:30

60 and not got any. Dad much the same.

HelloBunny · 27/07/2022 22:31

Just a couple of wispy ones at the temples. Not noticeable. My hair is the same as it’s always been, there’s just a little less of it now. I’m 46. Still bouncy & shiny. Lucky to have low maintenance hair, I suppose!

StRaphael · 27/07/2022 22:32

44 - no greys.

My mum is 78 and isn’t fully grey yet. Thanks Mum! However I inherited Dad’s cankle genes so swings and roundabouts!

Anywhereelse · 27/07/2022 22:34

I’m 48 and only just found a grey hair yesterday for the first time. My DF didn’t start going grey until he was nearly 70 though.

Dalaidramailama · 27/07/2022 22:36

I’m 33. No greys but a striking few whites near my ears.

Can you skip grey and go straight to white is that a thing? Hope so.

Quornflakegirl · 27/07/2022 22:36

I got my first few at 40 don’t have many more now at 43.

LesOliviers · 27/07/2022 22:42

37 and found my first grey hair a couple of months ago.

Caulidop · 27/07/2022 22:43

Late 30s, but when I found the bastard it was full length so obviously been growing for a while. Then I found a few more by rummaging!

NoodleSnow · 27/07/2022 22:45

My sister’s first grey hairs arrived in her mid twenties, mine came in my mid forties. Pure dumb luck.
Our grandmother never went grey and often found herself helping out “elderly” neighbours who would then turn out to be 20-30 years younger than she was.

creamcheeseandlox · 27/07/2022 22:49

I'm 42 and have never died my hair. Only one of my friends who has no Grey's.
