A Norfolk holiday cottage, but with access to a pool and hot tub.

I wouldn’t want to go abroad during summer when the weather is so lovely at home. I would mooch, bake and read all the books.

That sounds nice, maybe hire a small boat too

It would be Italy for me. Absolutely love the place and haven't seen enough of it. I would love to spend a month there travelling to different places. Sorrento, Tuscany, the lakes...

FoodieToo · 25/07/2022 20:29

Just back from Rhodes and it’s stunningly beautiful . So I’d say pick a few Greek islands . And travel around .

TomAllenWife · 25/07/2022 20:29

Thailand or Italy

countrygirl99 · 25/07/2022 20:33

I'd do a road trip in Africa. Probably Windhoek to Lake Malawi.

PlanetNormal · 25/07/2022 20:33

I would do a big US road trip. I haven’t done one of those for a decade, so I would enjoy every bit of it.

yonce · 25/07/2022 20:35

Route 66 for me!

BlackeyedSusan · 25/07/2022 20:47

West coast of Canada. Bloody beautiful.

BotterMon · 25/07/2022 20:58

Maui

ReviewingTheSituation · 25/07/2022 21:02

I'd go to Australia. Plenty of places there have nice weather in their winter. I'd have to go a long way if I had a whole month.

gogohmm · 25/07/2022 21:06

France - inland with a good local market

JasmineVioletRose · 25/07/2022 21:08

Greece, Canada, New Zealand...

NannyGythaOgg · 25/07/2022 21:39

Turkey

Cost of living is so cheap (more than it was but still cheap) - I can stay there for a month and apart from the flight I spend no more than I would at home.

Rachaelrachael · 25/07/2022 21:41

California road trip

Imissmoominmama · 25/07/2022 21:41

South of France.

TomAllenWife · 25/07/2022 21:44

@NannyGythaOgg great shout

Recently been to Istanbul and a meal for 4 adults came to £17 😱
I can't wait to go again

legosunqueen · 25/07/2022 21:45

Croatia, Dubrovnik to Split via a few islands...

Hoolihan · 25/07/2022 21:46

Realistic budget: interrailing or Greek/Croatia island hopping.

Unrealistic budget: some sort of Kenya/Tanzania plus Zanzibar/Madagascar experience.

Fupoffyagrasshole · 25/07/2022 21:46

We are going island hopping in Greece next may for a month

Greenvelvet1 · 25/07/2022 21:47

I would start in in South Italy and work my way up to the Alps via train, stopping at cities I want to see and little villages that aren't as well known. Eat to much pasta and pizza, drink wine and aperol sprtizs, read books, drink coffee and enjoy the museums and historic sites, with an odd beach day thrown in for good measure!

jollygoose · 25/07/2022 21:50

Very Switzerland the most beautiful place on earth. It's beside Lake Geneva and surrounded by mountains wish I could live there.

Natsku · 25/07/2022 21:50

The Netherlands. We used to spend 3 week long holidays there as a child and I remember them fondly so think my children would enjoy it too.
Just got back from a 6 week holiday, and that didn't feel like long enough even though it seemed so long at the start, so I might have to make that one month two.

KangarooKenny · 25/07/2022 21:52

I’d travel around the Greek islands.

jollygoose · 25/07/2022 21:52

Should say Vevey not very
