Poor Sebastian. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-62163849

Where was his school in all of this? How could ongoing months of abuse not have been noticed and flagged him as a child at risk? Or did the school do this, and Sebastian was failed by agencies further along the line?

MockingLoser, she did NOT say the EU, she said Europe. Imagine being such an American ignoramus and confusing the two.

Your problems in the US are far greater than ours.

They said European countries not the EU so you’re getting confused between the two. The UK has left the European Union but is still a European country

we don’t need capital punishment back as it doesn’t work as a deterrent. Or has the US managed to eradicate all murder/sexual crimes/child abuse due to having capital punishment in place?

the other person didn’t say we do hang people, but said that was the method when we did have capital punishment in place

The US is obsessed with legal action, the school were not at fault in this case as there was now evidence that abuse was taking place

How can you sue the school & police departments when they didn’t do anything wrong. How are the police suppose to know anything is happening if it hasn’t been reported to them? When the death occurred the police investigated & obviously did their job as the two murderers were brought to justice

I’d be more concerned about the murder rates in your country given that you have capital punishment yet it does nothing to drive the murder rates down…

I missed the deleted posts. Probably a good thing. I wonder what continent that poster thinks the UK is in. Maybe they think there is a continent called "The UK" or something. I'm not convinced they were an attorney. They didn't seem very educated.

This child’s story really upset me. How could no one else notice what he was going through.
