Most middle class family holiday destination? (just for fun!)

I haven't spotted a middle class thread all week so thought I'd start one just for fun 😜
In your opinion what are the most middle class or umc holiday spots?
Summer:
Any part of France (extra posh if you have friends or family who have a house to put you & the kids up in!)
Italian Lakes
Greek Islands

Winter
Barbados or similar Caribbean Island
Skiing in the Austrian, Swiss or French Akps (wealthiest go to Switzerland)
Christmas markets

This is just for fun & based on the wealthier middle class families I know! They all seem to go to the same places!

La Manga club Spain
Sandbanks

South of France, Italy, Cornwall (summer)

ski resorts in Switzerland and France (winter), New York for shopping.

Not Dubai.

Gstaad
St moritz
Como

Owning a house in South of France isn't all that. I cannot imagine anyone working class can afford or consider owning a house in gstaad.

Dubai is pure trash

A house in the lake's (I'm Cumbrian) African Safari, Rome

Going off to the family "pile" in the country for most of the (private)school holidays with a 3 week holiday on a Greek Island/Gite in the Dordogne/Tuscan villa to break it up. In winter Skiing in Gstaad followed by Barbados for New Year (or Mustique for the VVUMC)

That's the trend I'm noticing with our group, a few uk staycations coupled with 3 or 4 weeks in France (Provence😉) or the Italian lakes.

Is it Netmums? Is it? I think it is. They were so obvious when they first turned up. It faded a bit, but now, like a virus, boom! Everywhere, with the endless nonsense about class, the what do you hate threads. This is now effectively Netmums. xxx!!!???😕

North Pembs has been a MC one since at least the 80s (I grew up there).

Croyde Bay, there's a divide though, the MC are on the smaller campsites nearer the beach or in the village, the WC are on the Parkdene site.

Dubai is so pretentious and so full of international hookers - but sad.

Even the expats there have alot of the ",it" ladies stealing thier besties partners if they have any ££.

I’d definitely say north Norfolk too.

A woman I work with takes her very special breed of dog walking on the beach, and eats a picnic out the back of her pick up truck (out of a hamper) - and she wears joules 😆

And the WC in static caravans on the Parkdene site will be paying way more for their holiday.

I don’t really recognise any of these destinations as middle class. I mean I guess we would be classed as MC as we are both professionals but we certainly couldn’t afford Dubai or Biarritz or in fact any holiday abroad! Camping might be the only option! Maybe Upper Middle Class? Or just rich people. 😂

Not so sure about holiday destinations for the Upper Class, but wherever it is it will be in their second/third homes or homes owned by pals. Just have a look at where the royal family go……😉

🤣 Yes I know the type, overly loud, holidays & schools always discussed so they're "heard"!

Ditto to Rock and Salcombe.

A friend used to joke that there was a ‘gatekeeper’ at Rock, who’d check your accent before you were allowed in.😂
