minou123 I worked for HMRC when they brought the new computer system in for PAYE & it was awful, it took 3 times longer to do anything, the old COP system worked fine, why couldn't just have expanded that system or built a new system around it I will never know.

The HMRC staff know exactly what needs to be changed. But without fail, everytime, the hire outside consultants, which costs £millions, but whatever they change never works. So HMRC are left to fix the problems.

I hate the term "I believe in this NHS".

Well yeah, it's a demonstrable multi billion pound institution. There's nothing to "believe" in. It's not a religion. It shouldn't be put on a pedestal.
