Got a really good deal on a new car yesterday so splashed out. It's definitely a he and needs a name beginning with H for Hyundai. My current car is Hamish which I love, so was thinking Hamish 2. Unless anyone has any better ideas. My mum keeps suggesting girls names.

My cars have always been the letters all said together with vowels added where necessary. My current car is Plab

Horace has just been suggested. Don't know why I didn't think of that!

Mine is Cindy short for Cinnamon which is her colour.
We've had Spencer, Rocco, Adriana, Cherry, snd now Cindy.

I have a turquoise blue Peugeot called pepe le blu. Dh car is a Skoda called Silvio, I love thinking up names for our cars. Dh is thinking of changing his later this year so the name thinking starts again.

My family always name cars. I'm currently driving Fabrizzio who replaced Tabitha.
When my Dad died we sold Belinda.
My brother has Pauli, Boris and Juvy.

His partner despairs of us all and refuses to name her car.

I think the name comes to you. Sometimes it's a number plate thing and sometimes it's colour or onomatopoeia.

Now I'm going to have to name change because anyone who knows me or either of my siblings will now know who I am.

My cars are given the names I had shortlisted for my DC2 if they'd been a boy .

My car is Freddie , I sometimes chastice him "C'mon Fred you can fit in there , breathe in"

My cars have names too. Mavis the metro, Mabel the mini, Angry Amy the Audi ( because she was a very aggressive looking car) and now Mildred the mini. I talk to her too, especially on motorways if I think we can go up hills faster…..

We have a dacia whose official colour is Glacier White, so naturally her name is Foxy (fox's glacier mints)
