If 211 used to have convinced in Boris and 36 have resigned because they don't have confidence, can we suppose that more MPs now don't than do?

tobee · 06/07/2022 18:15

Didn't they try to ask him that sum in committee

Yes and he clocked it right away and wouldn't engage.

They did, however he either wouldn't or couldn't do the math. She did it for him. He gobbled a bit. A bit like a turkey before the chop, maybe?

Igotjelly · 06/07/2022 18:18

Didn’t they also ask him how many ounces are in a pound and he didn’t know 😂

tobee · 06/07/2022 18:19

He did metric. He can say his weight in stones and pounds. Yeah please don't.

tobee · 06/07/2022 18:20

JRM not dirtying his hands in no 10

vera99 · 06/07/2022 18:21

I'm looking forward to Dorries in tears, drunk, call the Tory party 'Yous lot are bastards.'

WaitroseWoman · 06/07/2022 18:22

BJ said something, when being questioned about Chris Pincher, in front of the Liaison Committee this afternoon, like 'doing something you shouldn't in a work environment'. I nearly choked at the hypocrisy of the man and really wanted one of them to say 'what, like getting a blow job from your mistress on the Foreign Office sofa?' Alas, not one of them did. They did quite well with him otherwise, but that was definitely a missed opportunity if ever I saw one.

vera99 · 06/07/2022 18:24

Could BJ not bring in agency staff to backfill ministerial posts? Obviously would need work permits and all that if non-British.

tobee · 06/07/2022 18:26

This could still go on & on tonight. The Beth & Mark show on Sky.

Can I ask a question please?

3-4 weeks ago there was a vote of no confidence on BOJO. He won that.

what’s happened in 3-4 weeks to make everyone resign? Apologies if this has been asked. I can’t see it. Thanks.

tobee · 06/07/2022 18:30

Google Chris Pincher

A week is a long time in politics. But simply put it seems to be the handling of the Chris Pincher issue.

Google Chris Pincher

Thank you. I did hear that on the news this morning when getting ready for work.

Ah the MP for Riyadh and Moscow. Well I don't believe the quote, because he is rarely manages to say anything without abusing someone.

I wonder how his Polish lessons are going.

tobee · 06/07/2022 18:34

Beth Rigby just saying how Johnson stacked the government with loyalists.

I always thought it was extraordinarily stupid of the Tories to treat the Brexit vote as something that would heal the Tory party and then they made it all the more divisive after the result. Short termist, let's win the election Tory mentality. Treating everything as if leave won by 80% with the backing of the press. Everyone else is a traitor. Can see why they did it but it's ultimately suicidal.

tobee · 06/07/2022 18:35

Easier for you to google @coolbottlesummer really. Smile

Chris Pincher was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Ministers were sent out to make absolute fools of themselves repeating what they'd been told which was a pack of lies over two days. It was embarrassing because we knew.

Yes to stacking his cabinet with loyalists. It didn't matter if they were capable of doing the job. Or not.
