Good ! What utter despicable cunts, all 3 of them

JustTheOneSwan · 30/06/2022 15:13

They threw him away like rubbish. I hope they spend every single day of their sentence in torment.

That was the poor teenage boy? Dreadful business, so tragic. I think it was after he'd tried to help a boy who'd been the victim of bullying, according to the Guardian.

No, Logan Mwangi in Bridgend

darisdet · 30/06/2022 15:21

Thanks @bbqhulahoop

I know that case too! Dear me. It's beyond understanding, some of these people.

Nospringchickendipper · 30/06/2022 15:27

He had no chance living in a house with three people who hated him.

picklemewalnuts · 30/06/2022 15:35

The teen is a nightmare waiting to be released, too. He'll be out in his twenties.

I don't understand how it can happen. Why can't we stop it? Poor little Logan, and poor everyone who knew him.

Hollygoshitely33 · 30/06/2022 18:37

I'm watching this on the news and am sickened. They say the stepfather called the poor little boy racist names and made him stand outside in the cold. The stepson is clearly a chip off the old block. How badly must he have been raised to be so cruel at the age of 14? My heart breaks for that little boy.

Samcro · 30/06/2022 18:40

Not long enough
the mother should have been locked away for ever
same with the other 2

Celeryfavour · 30/06/2022 18:41

I understand the sentence for the teen but it's worrying that he will be out in society again while he's still young. Young enough to get into a relationship and have children.

PaperTyger · 30/06/2022 18:41

Step son? Were they married?.

This is as far as I am.aware not step son or steps father just a bf moved in?

JustTheOneSwan · 30/06/2022 19:31

Just saw there is a program on itv tonight at 9 about the case.
likely to be a hard watch.

The video footage of her pretending that she didn't know where he was and pretending she was distraught was so chilling.

Poor little boy.

LizBennet · 30/06/2022 19:35

Some crimes warrant a full life term, these would be prime candidates for me.
Disgusting the boy was allowed to live with them, no doubt "lessons will be learned" 🙄

Val17 · 30/06/2022 19:36

I understand that these are minimum terms, so the 14yr old will serve a minimum of 15 years, he won't serve half....

Same with the other 2. They will be in jail a long time.

I hope the 3 of them suffer every day of their miserable lives.

Ohtoberoavingagain · 30/06/2022 19:39

The optimistic part of me hopes the teenager will have psychiatric and psychological care that might turn him around. The realistic part of me thinks too much damage has been done.
I hope the adults involved never have a minutes peace and eventually burn in hell.

hattie43 · 30/06/2022 19:42

That teenager is a worry ,he has a whole life ahead of him to cause misery and hurt .

His foster parents were saying in 50 yrs of caring for children he was the first to make them feel scared in their own home and told social services to take him away .

washingwakeup · 30/06/2022 19:44

The teenager was being fostered in the months before the murder, and the family who fostered him have said so much about his behaviour and threats towards Logan, and other children in general.

How did he then end up living with Logan? Did they not report any of what they witnessed?

soundsofthesixties · 30/06/2022 19:56

The 14 year old boy is the stepson of Cole.

startfresh · 30/06/2022 19:57

It's not long enough.

This story breaks my heart. That poor boy, with nobody who saved him. He wasn't shown the love he deserved.

This is where the death penalty should be reinstated. For extreme cases such as this. (Hope that's not breaking any guidelines, but please edit last line out, if so)

JustTheOneSwan · 30/06/2022 21:17

Watching her interview is sickening she's just acting and not even half convincingly. Too busy trying to manipulate.

It is horrifying. I’m still not clear which one of the three actually killed that poor little boy. It’s horrifying that he has a social services visit the day before and was missed. Some of the things the foster family said were incredibly worrying- the teenager said he wanted to kill Logan and was allowed to move in while that poor little boy was taken off the child protection register. The whole thing seemed like another social services mess.

Aquamarine1029 · 30/06/2022 21:23

Their sentences are pathetic. Disgraceful. They should be in prison for the rest of their lives. It's an outrage that they will ever be given the opportunity to be released.

Sqeebling · 30/06/2022 21:30

The family who had fostered the monster teen step brother before he went to live with Logan told the SS lady who basically lied and said the foster family had told her no such thing

There's no hope when SS lie to cover up their blatant mistakes leading to yet another child murder

Snuffy28 · 30/06/2022 21:32

This is so, so sickening. What kind of world are we living in where this kind of thing just keeps on happening?

I know we have (or did have, I don't know if it still exists), child line, but for those children too young to speak for themselves, there ought to be more intervention where any kind of abuse is suspected. Or compulsory parenting classes for those people whom SS think present a risk.

Surely a supposedly civilized society can come up with something better than this shambles of a system which results in children being killed.
