Bored? Seriously?

RocketsMagnificent7 · 02/06/2022 19:16

He wasn't bored 🤦🏻‍♀️

There's a video I've just seen he's jumping up and down waving, Charles gives him a look of proper grandfatherly affection then says something to Catherine and they're smiling down at him.

That moment with Louis and the Queen 🥰

UrsulaPandress · 02/06/2022 19:28

I reckon those moments between Liz and Louis will be ‘the’ best memory of the jubilee.

orangetriangle · 02/06/2022 19:37

He is four same age as my niece I thought he did very well considering his age made me smile he is just being a normal 4 year old it's so young really

Yes I think that was when he was trying to get to him. He settled for next to the Queen (and within Kates grasp 🤣)

Just like Uncle Harry did, though hopefully without the Nazi uniform

This.

motogirl · 02/06/2022 19:59

He looked like a typical 4 year old, sort of able to follow instructions but then got bored after a while, he also found the planes loud. George looked more bored though whereas Charlotte was very into waving

Louiselady500 · 02/06/2022 20:03

Thought he was fantastic. People would have been criticising if he’d acted like a robot!!

scrivette · 02/06/2022 20:06

He was so funny, I enjoyed watching the children on the balcony. Princess Charlotte looks like a character, I expect she bosses her brothers around!
Prince George looked so grown up and so much like Prince William.

Yes Charlotte didn't like it when Louis was waving wrongly 🤣

Wednesdayafternoon · 02/06/2022 20:07

Awww he was so sweet and reminded me so much of my own son who would've been exactly the same!

patchysmum · 02/06/2022 22:15

poor love the noise from the planes must have been awful he looked really distressed with his hands over his ears.

BlueKaftan · 02/06/2022 22:17

DevilishDiva · 02/06/2022 18:43

It was probably his reaction when he heard Meghan and Harry had arrived 🤣

Just had to get that dig in there on a thread that has nothing to do with them. 🙄

CuriousCatfish · 02/06/2022 17:14

He looked very bored 😂

No he didn’t. Far from it

Haydugee · 02/06/2022 22:23

Louis looked anything but bored, he was smiling and waving and jumping up and down with excitement. Loved seeing him chatting away to the Queen!

Oblomov22 · 02/06/2022 22:25

Shame, I bet he'll get told off about it, which he shouldn't be.

threecupsofteaminimum · 02/06/2022 22:28

Louis single handedly saving the monarchy! He's brilliant, just like my DS was at that age!

balalake · 02/06/2022 22:28

Spoke more with the Queen than anyone else, and judging by some of the people Her Majesty has to speak to, probably a lot more sense too!

AngelicaElizaAndPeggy · 02/06/2022 22:33

Bored? Hell no! My son would have given his right arm for this when he was 4. Massive horses, big noisy planes, a ride in a carriage, toy soldiers with big guns everywhere - whats not to love!

Blossomtoes · 02/06/2022 22:40

He’s adorable. I had a lump in my throat watching him with the Queen.

BreadInCaptivity · 02/06/2022 23:19

He behaved pretty well for his age I think and is cute as a litter of kittens.

My sympathy is reserved for the DoC - I can't imagine trying to parent a small child in those circumstances knowing the eyes of the world are on you. Keeping your cool, smiling and trying to keep a small child (having perfectly normal reactions to what's frankly a bizarre situation to be in) engaged and "behaved" takes more inner steel than I possess 😂.

That’s not very nice. I’m pretty sure the sun was in the children’s eyes when they were in the carriage. They were all squinting and rubbing their eyes at times. They’re only children after all.

AmaryIlis · 03/06/2022 00:30

What's all that stuff in the tweets with people saying he's a mood? I've never heard that used as a description of a person before. In a mood, yes, being a mood, no.
