A hard slog today, with nothing to hang a Google search on. A bit of a guess in the end.

I have my DD12 hooked also, and we play alongside each other, swapping words. Yesterday she got European at the exact same time that I got Robin 🤗

That was horrible. Really low accuracy rate meant that at the end I only had 6 correct words. I still didn't Google (but I would have had nothing to Google anyway, even if I was a Googler!).

Terrible accuracy - it is a short entry, which doesn't help I think. I took forever to get the area, and really got the word because it fitted in a sentence, not because I thought it was the answer.

That was hard - worst accuracy I think I have had. Sometimes you know something will be the answer when you put it in but this time it was a shock when I got it!

I think that’s my worst ever. No hits for ages, then suddenly got a key word that gave me the answer

I really should make a list of good words to use when starting out on these - I’m sure the same word was really helpful a few Redactles ago.

Got a key word on my 3rd guess with 12 hits which pointed me in the right direction. Much better than my woeful knowledge of dead German philosophers...

153 guesses and I have only had one hit so far, and it's a completely unhelpful generic word. Aaaaahhhhhh I may be going mad.

Also 21 guesses but only a 33% hit rate. I've got some decent knowledge of the relevant topic.

DD hasn't forgiven me for the day I talked up the easiness of XXX and XXXXX and the fact that it was gettable in 2, and she struggled over it for ages before getting it in about 100. Her standard opening gambit is "war", which is very useful for anything historical, so if I hadn't said anything she'd have nailed it immediately.

Got it by complete chance, accuracy 4.8%. Winning at life 😂
