No - I knew it was a German philosopher who influenced Pope Jean Paul the something, at which point I googled. Never heard of him.

Interesting one today (#76). Lots of misses for words that would usually be associated with this subject!

Today's took me 228 guesses. Don't even want to think about the German philosopher one the day before!

Much better than yesterday - no Googling (or DuckDuckGoing) required.

Although, I put in an two letter abbreviation which gave me a return of 0 occurrences but it’s in the text at least 3 times?

Also noticed that the current wiki article is quite different to the Redactle version now (was intrigued as the Redactle version seems chopped off midway).

90 guesses today (no.76) and only 42% accuracy. It took ages before I knew what sort of thing it was.

I forgot to look at yesterday's. Having seen the answer it's probably just as well as I'd never have got it!

I was stuck on the one the day before (which I assume from a PP was robotics). I was going round in circles for ages not getting anywhere and then ran out of time.

I don't know how you all got it so quickly! None of my usual words came up with anything. And the few I got weren't much help. Nothing was googleable. So I had to plod on until I got one word that kind of helped and trawl through several wiki pages till I hit the jackpot!
