I think it's only really easy if you're on a computer as you can click and highlight the text and it shows how many letters there are.

Re the Liquid Crystal Display one, I'd hit upon technology and screen and was adding HDMI, USB, LCD, etc. It was only when I was about to give up and start googling that I scrolled back up and saw LCD in the first set of brackets. Doh!

It may depend what sort of device/ browser you're using. On my iPad in Safari I just touch the start of a space which selects the first blank space, then pull my finger right to successively select the rest. It's a bit hard to show what I mean without a redacted page available at this point.
Tbh it's a bit painful, but I think worth doing for the title at least - I avoided todays misspelling because I knew how many letters I needed, and although I'm not sure I'd ever consciously noticed the alternatives for the target, I knew of a direct analogy in another similar case.

wow, was not that expecting that today. Got a biggish clue, and fortunately I used to be very familiar with this through a Job had a few years back.

got the correct spelling as I didn’t realise there was an alternative way, which means I was spelling it incorrectly for years at work Blush

It took a while to get to grips with what the subject is. It was a joint effort Chez Elm, with DS 23 and DD12 getting involved. But it was DD who got the actual word!
