I got lucky with an early random guess, which gave me the general sub-area and I was watching something on telly which had me in the right frame of mind.

I was at least 100 in before I even got a sniff of what it was about. Guess 149 got me a key word which got me the answer.

quite enjoyable as at least it’s something I’ve heard of and didn’t have to google.

It amazes me with this how I can be completely flailing around with no idea and then BAM a few correct words and word association and I'm there. It's fun!

35 guesses but only 20% accuracy. It was my 7th correct word after lots of no hits. I had seen the word very recently so just a lucky guess. Didn’t think it would be the actual word. Am a bit disappointed that it’s over so quickly!

As for yesterday's - I didn't realise the English spelling had an -s. It wouldn't occur to me - so I'm lucky I guess!

It's like we (mis)spell Lyon as Lyons, that's why I went for it when I'd used up the correct number of letters by the E.

But the French turn London into Londres so I guess it's fair enough.

Yeah, I can't get a letter count on my android devices!
