@JaneJeffer I'm beginning to feel a bit like this, but I just keep getting hints until I can see a way through.

But often the hints are truly obscure, so I end up getting loads. I may well just not bother one of these days, or not do it religiously every day.

I think I am enjoying Quordle, Octordle and Redactle much more these days!

I was up to 989 and decided to get a hint. It gave me 991 and I just lost it how they programmed it to give the worst possible hint I do not know! I had another five letter word which to my mind should have been a high green but wasn't even green. Maybe they don't use them in the US like we do this side of the pond. I should have been more patient I suppose!

There are some very weird words on the way to the target word today. I do not understand how they fit. The two hints I took were not the least bit of help.
