Oh, it took me 128 guesses to even get a green and now I’m over 200, stuck on 996, and the clue above doesn’t seem to be helping, although I may well have tried variations of the right word already!

100 guesses so far and my highest score is only19!! Possibly going to be my worst ever at this rate....

Have you tried all tenses and singular/plurals of words you've tried? If you've got 995 it's the opposite in singular form.

DH is on 250 guesses and counting, and his greens are entirely different to mine and taking him nowhere, even though he’s over 800. I do find this game fascinating. I can see where the word links to what he has but it’s a very, very specific technical use compared to the wider one that I (and I think others on here) found - and also a very British usage.
