I've tried a huge number of variations around 728 and still can't get it.

I solved Semantle #141 in 104 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 4.25. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #9. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 38.07 (982/1000). semantle.com/

I’ve been playing semantle for a few months, never found this board before, but tracked you all down to say…. Today’s semantle is bizarre!!!! I got clues for every answer from 990 upwards and still had to give up! None of the words are related to each other at all!!

Well I had a very different experience from the rest of you (got 728 early) but looking at the word list, I could have been at this for a looooong time. What an entirely random list!

@JaneJeffer those will get you to 728 eventually. Think about how you feel about things you 278. Then clue from 728.

Annoyed because I thought I'd already played the secret word! Had 3 unhelpful hints, and only got there because of a clue from reddit.

@JaneJeffer the secret word is less positive than your two top greens. It's a more mundane word.

Today I needed to get the car washed, do the food shopping and go and buy some other bits. I was putting them off but decided to get them done then I can relax this afternoon. I've just made a cup of tea and sat on the sofa with the intention of wasting an hour doing Semantle. Found it in 6 today, possibly my best score and now I feel cheated :)

Today was my first ever give up.
and even now I don’t get it! I’ve been playing for months but todays doesn’t make any sense at all to me. I’m starting to doubt words mean what I think they do 😂

I definitely got lucky today. I looked at the nearest words after I'd got it, and they make no sense at all! I'm glad I got there from a much lower green.
