I took an awkward route with this one. My first green was 216 and I used a few hints which gave me 701, 775 and then 831.

I used two hints as I was flailing around in the minuses but then got it quite quickly and with a big dollop of luck

I am getting nowhere but have loads of tepids so I got some hints which gave me the top two I have. I am a bit ! Can anyone tell me if the two below that are getting me anywhere or am I just wandering down a very wrong path?

If anyone plays junior semantle- if you put todays two secret words together you get an amusing rhyming slang!

@ApolloandDaphne it's not that sort of thing, but 144 behaves materially more like the target than 579 does. Maybe come back to it after breakfast and you might see things more clearly.

Those two hints are ridiculous though!

I've now done two more hints and they are equally ridiculous. 822 and 866. Honestly i am giving up now.
