I’m in for the booze but a bit worried about the security of the card reader 😂

Apparently they happily take cash, so no worries!!

Shampain for my sham friends, real pain for my real friends.

Dh says this all the time but I don't know where it's from!

Antarcticant · 29/05/2022 20:50

£10? You can get a whole bottle for not much more than that in Lidl.

Francis Bacon the artist used to say it. That's where it comes from.

You've got to admire her persistence at spelling veshigatibuls.

Me! One morning my dd brought me a vodka tonic in bed . She was 6. No ice and a slice though.

Oh - never heard of this. And 100% certain the author if this 'bill' hasn't either 😁

KindergartenKop · 29/05/2022 20:56

Oh I got it the wrong way around. Soz!

DogWithMyOwnRoom · 29/05/2022 21:01

Cheers! 🥂 (so cute, and her spelling makes more sense phonically than the correct way)

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz - loving the menu, especially veg! 🤣

I'm pleased by her view of cheese as a vechtibale. Very sensible.

I also really want some shampain now.

Hallyup89 · 29/05/2022 21:09

I find this quite sad, rather than cute tbh. A young child shouldn't be giving a receipt for alcohol to their parent.

If you've got a tenner you're in luck!!

🤣 they aren't that young and you literally have no clue about the context.

I promise you they are not in harm's way.

Toddler DS used to shout "beer!" whenever he saw someone drinking (any type of drink!) - oh, the shame! 🤣🤣🤣 Luckily now he only wants coffee in the mornings...

Arnaquer · 29/05/2022 21:17

That's so sweet
