Ah lush! She knows what you drink Grin

My dd wrote us a restaurant menu a few years back when she was little and its just so cute

Goats cheese pizza!! Trés fancy

Toddler DS used to shout "beer!" whenever he saw someone drinking (any type of drink!) - oh, the shame! 🤣🤣🤣 Luckily now he only wants coffee in the mornings...

Mine used to love going to the pub. My eldest used to ask if she could come to the pint shop with me

TheGirlWhoLived · 29/05/2022 21:21

Dd wrote me a menu when she was about 5, everything came with “mish veg”

2nd dd (8) just poured me a glass of wine. Clutch your pearls around that Grin

CanofCant · 29/05/2022 21:23

Very cute.

I find this quite sad, rather than cute tbh. A young child shouldn't be giving a receipt for alcohol to their parent.

You must be a laugh riot at parties.

PurpleButterflyWings · 29/05/2022 21:29

I thought this was a bill written from some dodgy restaurant you went to @failing40s Grin Incredibly cute. So is the other example posted here. Smile

I honestly thought this meant the child should give the bubbly free of charge.

PeekAtYou · 29/05/2022 21:38

That's is adorable 🥰

Ha - exactly! And it's not like I make them go down there once it's really dark.

This is fabulous, although I think I might want to give the fish dishes a miss, considering that someone has written ‘gag’ next to that section! I hope it wasn’t a review Grin

Your dd is going to be a good business woman @failing40s - She should set up with @BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz's dc!

Francis Bacon the artist used to say it. That's where it comes from.

Knowledge is power.
France is bacon.

Mine are older now but I have the menu from them aged 4/5 when there was
ice cream with wood lice £2
ice cream with crunchy spiders £3.50
ice cream alone is £5

cake and wash your own plate was £10 and cake without washing your plate was £5

report me to social services !

the kids would ask every day what’s for tea and I’d say ‘soup and spiders’ and then would chant back with dog hair? Or mouldy cheese? Etc
becoming more and more outrageous until we got home when it would be ‘soup with mouldy cheese, spiders and flies, bird poop, etc ‘ they loved it……

Shampain for my sham friends, real pain for my real friends.

Dh says this all the time but I don't know where it's from!

Fall Out Boy!

ozymandiusking · 29/05/2022 21:54

It's so sweet! My grandaughter used to set her little play table with toy cutlery, and put them on top of a folded paper napkin on the left hand side of the diner, (the modern way when eating out.) Usually teddy, panda, dolly and cat.
Who also made up part of the class when calling the register. All written in a little note book with the date and ticks. Happy days.

Tryhard40 · 29/05/2022 22:09

Vechtibaledish! Meets! Awww...

Make sure you keep all those little notes off em, every single one!

Iamthewombat · 29/05/2022 22:11

I’ll take the samen please. It’s a steel at £5.

There's always one 🙄

Sleepyteach · 29/05/2022 22:15

My cafe owner can’t write yet but made me write the menu on the blackboard for her.

Hot chocolate £15
Ice cream £15
cake £20
pizza £10

TBF it’s clear what she places value on.

bloodyunicorns · 29/05/2022 22:17

The menus are both fabulous. What great kids.
