BGT live semi finals

I've got tickets for the first BGT semi final but it's one of those where they give away too many tickets so you have to go and queue on the day.

In a moment of madness I've booked train tickets and a hotel on the off chance we manage to get in but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of this or any tips!

It's at Hammersmith appollo so I've booked hotel nearby as I'll have DD(8) with me so if we do get in I don't want to be dragging her on the tube late at night.

Our train gets into Euston at 9.10 so we'll tube it straight to Hammersmith to get in the queue but I'm wondering if we'll be too late even by then. I've seen something online from 2019 that said they started giving out tickets at 9.30 and all were gone by 11am... We would be there before 11am but probably only by half an hour.

If anyone has any experience of this let me know. I've already warned DD that we might not get tickets and that we'll have a lovely couple of days in London if we don't. Just want to know if I'm completely mad even trying to get tickets 😬

That’s good to know for future reference. Made it a long day for the kids getting there in the morning and walking round London all day.

We have dress circle but look pretty ok row F more than happy 😊.

Did you queue and wait long? What time.did you get there. Just planning our day to get there early get tickets grab some lunch and then spend the day in London but not sure where to head with the children. Don't want them being too tired!
Super excited just hope we get in after thinking we were going today! Pleased I checked the date haha

Hey, I got tickets today for the show tonight. Got there at like 12:20 and there was maybe 25 people in the queue. Waited for 5 mins and then got tickets. The staff were all super helpful and it was a very easy process. Only thing, is we’re towards the back of the circle so not sure how great the view will be or how you could get better seats. Not sure what there is nearby but there’s a tube station just across from the Apollo so fairly easy to leave and go elsewhere for a bit.

I've seen someone suggest that they are giving circle tickets to families and stalls to adult groups. Possibly that they want adults on camera so in the stall and shoving the families upstairs!

Hope everyone who's been the last couple of days have had a fab time though, we really did!

I wasn't with kids though and I was shoved upstairs, just me and another adult! I'm sure there were kids in the audience downstairs for tonight's show too, oh well, who knows what they're thinking🤔

We had a fab time on Wednesday…. And we now have 2 tickets for the final!! Logistics are a bit tricky as the first train on Sunday isn’t early enough, so we’re driving to Richmond, catching a tube, and hoping to be in the queue super early, get tickets by 11, tube and drive home by 12.30, then catch a train back at 3.45pm 😆

Hi everyone, I have tickets for tonight but can’t get there till 3pm. Just wondered if anyone is there now and knows what the queues are like and if they have started to give out tickets yet xx

We are here today got there at 9am they started giving tickets out at 1045am need to be back for 6pm.
Make sure you take photo I'd for everyone in the group.
There were over 200 behind us. But there is 3000 seats

What sort of seats have you got? Were there many in the queue in front of you? Despite doing it all on Weds, I’m still be boys about not being there early enough on Sunday 🤪

They seem to start at about 10.45 every day and people have managed to still get tickets at 3pm. Fingers crossed for you!

It's all very strange, don't think we'll ever figure it out. When we went into the appollo to get tickets there were 2 people giving out tickets from a pile each so I wonder if one had the circle and one the stalls so its just luck of the drawer which one you got

@Stopdropnroll Who knows, but up until this year, they gave all the stall tickets out first before starting on the circles, I've got tickets for the final though😁maybe I'll get stalls this time!

Fingers crossed you do! We're very jealous you're going to the final, didn't even try to get them as I think my husband might divorce me if I say we're going again!! Will try for tickets again next year though now we know the set up!

I wasn't sure I'd make it, my friend who I usually go with can't come and no one else was free/interested and I didn't want to go on my own, but I've managed to find someone to drag along😆Hopefully you'll get to the finals next year, that's one thing I haven't been to, only the semi finals,auditions and the champions!

Arrived at the Apollo at 8.10 this morning and about 50 people in front of us already. Watching the acts arriving 😃

Are there a lot of people there? I’m on my way and will be there soon
