Well, we are still going! And still learning about subjects new and old!

This was annoying. I knew what it was but couldn't for the life of me remember the word (menopause brain). Racked and racked my brain for related words for ages and finally it popped into my head. Painful but I still refuse to Google.

I solved today's Redactle (#51) in 115 guesses with an accuracy of 41.74%. Played at www.redactle.com/

131 guesses today, but with only 42% accuracy, which is my worst ever. It took me ages to get into the right area, but once I was there it didn't take long.

After exactly 100 guesses I finally stumbled onto the subject area. It’s one I’m completely clueless about so this may take a while! But I am determined not to Google.

Not knowing much about it may be a good thing - I couldn't think of many words in the right area which were the right sort of length and fitted grammatically.

Took me 135 to get subject and even then lots of likely guesses yielded zeroes!

Phew! That was a struggle.

I finally got the right area about 120 guesses in, and then it was a case of finding something that fitted the word pattern in the first sentence.

Had to Google. I was in the right area for ages but a high number of related words just aren’t in there!

I worked out what sort of thing the target was, but then used quite a lot of guesses going through the various possible things

I enjoyed that today, spent some time filling in lots of blanks. Wish it gave you the option to carry on even after you've got it!

Got it in 2 guesses. Was a bit startled but got the topic with first word then took a guess with the second, judging on word length and the length of another bit of info.
