surprisingly a good score for me.

Thought I was in for the long haul with this one. Up to 20 guesses without a single word. A very lucky stab in the dark got me a key word from the opening paragraph, then I went for every word connected to it that fit with ‘an’. No googling but I’m not sure there was that much skill either.

73 guesses, 47.95% accuracy. I got a key word at guess 64, and then a clue in the first line and a sudden flash of inspiration :)

I nearly had the same thing but I was going through all the social groups I could think of that were primarily men- monks, Freemasons, Hells Angels, Luddites, etc.

Really frustrated - so many zeroes!

Gaaah, I actually got the area reasonably quickly (well for me, so after about 50 guesses or so) and was sort of reaching for this word but it wasn’t coming to me. Kicked myself when it finally did pop into my head, was like ‘oh of COURSE’.
