Got today's in 48 guesses. Had no clue what the area was until about guess 42.

81 today. I only lost five guesses to spelling problems.

I was getting nowhere until a word which I was expecting to have one meaning turned out to have a completely different capitalised meaning which gave me the general sphere.

Aah I thought A-team too.

Also fell foul of the spelling of the third word. Would have got it much sooner.

I saw on here that there was an issue with the spelling of one of the words in the title, so that helped.

Took me far too many guesses today, considering the number of accurate words I had.

I googled the last word after seeing there was an issue with the spelling, as had the first two words in the title. 45 guesses, 57.78% accuracy

53 guesses 50.95% accuracy. Fucking spelling. I'd have been ten guesses sooner had a I spotted that.

Aargh I had one of the title words on my 3rd guess. But it was the spelling…. I would have got it in a few goes if it had come up.

I hadn't looked at the thread ... I got 'that word' right the first time - that's what it's called. I made sure my U.K. spellcheck didn't override it, having been caught out in the past by a word being changed when I don't want it to be, so annoying.

Grrrr at Americanizations! I tried that word at guess 9..... totally stumped after that.

My first under average :) glad, but bit disappointed that it was over so fast, some which took me hundreds of guesses/gradual understanding gave me more enjoyment.

The capitalised "___ Round" really confused me and when I saw what it was I was none the wiser

I made a couple of wrong guesses due to that, and then thought hard about other possibilities.

There seems to be a new game which may be of interest- sounds like it might alleviate the annoyance of alternative spellings. Just about to try it
