Easy if they are already a contact in your phone. Less easy if they are a random person they’re claiming not to know.

Yes I've done it WhatsApp and text sent my bank details to a complete stranger 😂 sent my ugliest face pic to a neighbor and also sent a message to my ex mother in law about her luckily I quickly sent another and said some BS about oh that was such and such she bought it thank god

Depends on what you mean by wrong person.

If you've got a few people that are contacts and message regularly, then it's pretty easy to click on wrong conversation. If you mean message a random number rather than a friend, that would seem really odd and unlikely.

I've done it. Was rushing a message off and not really paying attention.

But if you’re suspicious, just because it’s easy to make a mistake doesn’t mean it was a mistake.

I've done it many times.
When I'm having a couple of conversations at the same time I've sent to the wrong person.

I sent a shopping list meant for my husband to my niece. Bit embarrassing as I give my husband pictures to go with the list 🤣

I’ve done it a few time’s for stuff that doesn’t really matter. For the important stuff, I double check I’m sending it to the right person as I’ve heard a few nightmare/embarrassing stories.

Very easy, assuming it's to someone you have recently had a WhatsApp conversation with (my boss and my brother have the same first name, I have to archive my boss between conversations so I don't slip up )

It would be very difficult, pretty much impossible, however to accidentally send a WhatsApp to someone you don't already have an active conversation with, even if they're already in your phone contacts.
