I solved Semantle #97 in 45 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 6.44. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #16. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 51.00 (995/1000). semantle.com/

I think that's the best I've ever done 😃 I just got lucky that my first green was actually relevant.

Took me ages to get a relevant green (211 at guess 13 was not in the least helpful!) then a long time to work out how the higher greens I had linked together.

I've got a lot of greens which seemed to be leading me in a direction that made sense but now come to a standstill

Any advice?

My advice is to ignore that word and keep slogging on.

My two hints are the only greens I have so far. I really don't want to link them.

@Etinoxaurus 999 is a synonym. Perhaps thinking more of annoying things than nice things will nudge you over the line.

That was a weird one. I had loads of greens that weren't really connected at all-even now I know the answer I don't think they are. Odd.

Can't get anywhere with this - highest green is 752. Is that helpful? Already over 100 guesses!

I'm on 975 and have a vague theme but 131 guesses in am not feeling like I'm flying up the greens! Not in need of a clue here yet but just sharing my pain.

@BIWI 944 is the right ending but think about the full extent.
