I’m currently pondering my top two, 948 and 909. The latter makes me wonder if the former is being used in a rather American sense which we’d usually prefix.

I seem to have an odd selection of greens which as far as I can tell doesn't overlap with any mentioned on this thread. So I'm probably barking up the wrong tree(s)

I struggled again today despite getting an early green. I went completely down the wrong track and had to use hints:

I solved Semantle #94 in 25 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 6.17. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #7. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 21.70 (429/1000). semantle.com/

Ffs. The word I thought it was going to be was 985. But instead of putting it first, I did 6 other guesses as I thought I was off.
Now to hope these greens are useful! Haha

OK, clues on here plus a hint have got me 997, 989, 986, 985. Any more clues as to where to go from here?

I love hate this game. Stuck at 989 and 991.

Am I a 997? I'm trying to think of other words for words for what you are leading me to and I just can't get there 😭

Yeah I'm too stubborn to give up. Don't wanna ruin my win streak! I'm just trying to keep my average lower 😂 otherwise I would just be throwing any words in like I did originally.

@RenegadeKeeblerElf yes, if you were a 997. I'm not an expert at this but it's literally another name for the 985/986. Think of other names you would call it if you had a 985 at an event in a 989.

I actually ended up using a thesaurus on 986 which got me there (I was getting very frustrated though!)
