Stuck on 994 with so many greens! I have a theme but goodness knows if it's right!

Took me ages to think of a synonym for 997! Starting with what was on the bedside table helped me today.

I solved Semantle #87 in 38 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 12.58. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #13. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 25.48 (460/1000).

BIWI My first word was a green (373) so I thought I was going to do well. Alas. I've tried a whole bunch of words associated with that (lots of greens), and then lots more words like 989 (768, 856, 961, 979).

I can't work out whether I need to tie the two themes together or not.

My first and only green is 666 - is that remotely on the right track?

In an oceanic context it's a 989 but in a domestic context it's a lot less so
