We are all well and truly addicted now!

I solved Semantle #86 in 132 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 6.96. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #43. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 49.69 (988/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I got 995 at guess 82 but then thought of just about everything except the right answer till I saw one of the clues on here. Which was a bit ironic given where I've been today - a big 994 going into the 824.

i enjoyed todays. Compared to yesterday it seemed quite a logical climb once you get in the greens.

Ok slightly off topic but ... I'm about to go off grid aka going on a cruise, recommendations for puzzle books for us to get our word game fix's or apps which don't need an internet connection, it's 'surprisingly' hard to get a signal in the middle of the Atlantic (and rather pricy!)

I agree the majorities of the greens are logical, but I climbed a random track unrelated to pretty much all of them!

my third go and got it in 66 today though not sure the final word had much to do with most of my greens. Addictive though.

Now I feel silly, each day I copy someone's report and type in my results....now (from a comment on the redactle thread) I find that if I click "share my results" then Semantle will do it for me!

Very frustrating today. Is 339 any use whatsoever?

MN is doing my head in. I had typed a full post to whoever inquired about 339 and the app won’t let me post it so hopefully this will work.

i got there from 339 but you need to think alongside it to get a higher green.

Now I'm off to complain about the fecking app.

I was struggling with 500 greens despite using 2 hints and this hint took me right up to 997 and then the answer! 😃

Got there after going through quite a few synonyms. Getting better at thinking more ‘laterally’, but seem to have a habit of making my way through some sort of minority significance route and not grasping the broader theme until looking at the list after getting the word 😅
