We generally either get Heardle in 1 or not at all!

I only get them if they're ancient like me

I didn't try Heardle before because I thought it would be modern stuff, which I mostly don't really know (I'm pretty ancient in music terms, most things from after the mid 90s would not be likely to be recognised by me!). Lucky to get an 80s one first time. How often are they oldie songs?

@theDudesmummy the first one I did was Fleetwood Mac which I got in one second. After that there was loads of songs I never heard of so I gave up doing it.

Also got Heardle in 1 today. I have equally had a days when I’ve never heard of the song or artist.

@theDudesmummy tends to be fairly evenly split between oldies and recent stuff.

My first green was 970 after a bunch of random guesses, it was pretty straightforward after that. A nice quick one for me. Heardle was nice and easy today too!

Similar to pp, I got 970 quite quickly, got some greens but needed a hint at 994 to get me to the answer. Good for my average though:

the target word isn’t a type of 994 but would be under the same umbrella term (like, for example, apples and pears would both be types of fruit).
