I am so pleased with todays.

I solved Semantle #85 in 13 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 4.89. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #5. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 73.18 (999/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Much easier today than yesterday!

No worries. I got worried that nobody would see it or if multiple would be made.

Today was quite nice. I wish the hint button would be removed though as it is so so tempting.

This was my first go at Redactle, solved it in 78 with an accuracy of 51.28%. I did google for the name once I had the second word. I did think it was going to be impossible for most of the time.

My first guess actually wasn't that helpful, even though it was quite high.

This game makes me feel thick sometimes when posters are getting it quickly and I'm plugging away, 100 guesses in 😭😂

It won’t get you to 1000, but to get you a bit higher think of the reason behind 981?

My mum plays. She isn't on here. She is the most intelligent person I know. She has just asked me for a clue. Her list of green words are amazing as they are on totally the wrong track.
One of my first words that I always try got me easily on the right track.
I think it all depends on your first few green words.

That was me yesterday (and on other occasions!) just going round in circles despite clues. It is quite random sometimes (but I still love it. I think! 😬)

Oh sod it I used a hint and now I’m furious with myself. And yes 998 was the target word quite recently, I got that one much more quickly which is even more annoying!

Yeah it definitely depends on those first few greens.
I did appallingly on the "pot" one after being stuck on "herb" for 100 guesses.

Thing is, one day it will be simple for you but hard for everyone else!

I hated today's. All my greens were completely unrelated to each other and to the answer. I hit the hint button more times than I'd like to admit.

The relationship between even some of the top greens and the secret word seems very dubious today.

I think the hint button has ruined the game for me - I just don’t have the willpower to hold out and keep guessing, and people don’t ask for cryptic clues here so much anymore either!

As in last couple of days needed the hint to push up from something in 980s. It's like I follow a logical path then need to leap a chasm to get to the end and I just can't see there is somewhere to leap too without a push.
