We are all well and truly addicted now!

After tearing my hair out on Cemantle yesterday and taking hours over it, I got this done in about 5 minutes! Nice logical progression once you're above the 950s

I solved Semantle #86 in 63 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of -1.19. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #26. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 29.60 (537/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I found todays a little weird. My first green threw me way off track. Got there in the end though

Yeah it’s not one of my usual starting words 😀

A much more common similar thing was a high cold, so I guessed it from that trying to get into the greens.

Am now on 697 so will try throughout the day from there (annoying I have to go to work 😂)

Quite pleased with today. Got a few mid greens but associated words were just coming up cold and I wondered if I was on the wrong track. Finally got a higher word (915) and was about to resort to the thesarus but as I was typing it in, I thought of another word and, bingo!

@EdwinsActsOfKindness 697 is much better. Think of the form of it.

Wouldn't have got that without a hint, how on earth does that relate to the majority of the greens???

I got 995 out of nowhere too but many guesses on still haven’t got anything higher! Other than one of those ??? words which shows higher but no similar words work. Quite enjoying myself but really struck you got it almost immediately!

I'm still puzzled by how this works. One of my early greens was 316. After a lot of other (cold) guesses, I put 'ing' on the end of it, which shot me up to 744! (Not that that was much of a help either)
