Of the year or the week? Even now I've added a bunch of guesses and no green. I'm being stupid today (maybe it's the wine)

Today apart from the eggs what goes on?

I've tried some religious abs non-religious words and I'm not in greens yet. Although, whilst I know a bit about the religious side and I know a lot about the chocolate 😅 I don't know much else about the day. I only learned about bonnets last year!! I'll have a rummage around my brain and some of the internet and hopefully I'll hit a green to start me off.

Yes. It wasn't capitalised, but I just tried it with a capital and both are low scores.

Unless today is Christmas and I'm 8 months behind everyone!! 😅

I give up! Annoyingly I had a shorter form of word in the colds and tried it a couple of times.

Hahaha thanks! Finally a green. This is my biggest amount of guesses. I thought I'd put it earlier, and had lots of similar words with no green. Now to try for the target.

Thank goodness for that! I’ve got work in the morning, I need to go to bed. Could not have done it without clues and in the end it was a low green (537) plus a clue that got me the answer, even though I had 978 and 943.
