I just read that Brooklyn Beckham is getting married. I thought he would be about 15 years old, no he's 23 😁

There are a few other frights after well including a chap in a god awful pink jacket.

Brooklyn photo taken a couple of hours beforehand looking a mess.

Bridesmaids, the child ones had lovely dresses and looked their age and not overdone which was a surprise.

The brides older sister arrived, an attractive women but with the face and features Nicola would have had if she hadn’t had her visage completely remodelled.

Nice to see a dog wearing boots to protect his paws from the hot surfaces.

Just had a quick scroll and yes- those outfits!! Several of the women look like they're in skimpy nightwear. Agree too that the flower girl dresses are lovely- very simple and age appropriate - but seem out of keeping with what everyone else is wearing.

Nicola's plastic surgery - how sad to have done all that by age 27; if she felt the need to have all that work done then I imagine she'll struggle with ageing.

I bet she's pregnant within a year, Brand Beckham: the Next Generation.

It's in the public eye. Vicky and Dave could have kept their extraordinarily average kids out of the public gaze but chose not to. Even Brooklyn must know he has no talent yet still chooses to thrust himself and his turgid efforts at having a showbiz career into the spotlight.

Anyway, I'm sure none of them care about a thread on MN, and even if they do, that £3 million spunked on a tacky wedding will be consolation enough.

To be fair “domesticity” for these two is going to look very different to the “average” couple. So saying he should have been spreading his wings etc is irrelevant really. They have the money to travel the world and do what they want. I highly doubt they do any domestic chores themselves. No worries about paying bills etc. so they’re married now. It doesn’t change much in their situation. They have the pre nup, quickie divorce if it doesn’t work out. Very different to your average 23 year old.

Exactly. All the 'they should wait' - what for? It's not like they have to save up to pay for it! Life's very different for them. It's kind of refreshing that they want to commit. And it's not like they'll be stuck in the marriage if it goes wrong, in the way people post about here.

So much nastiness about a young couple getting married. They can't help who their parents are.

Im not a fan of the Beckhams but their children appear to be polite and well mannered and don't seem to have gone off the rails. Harper looks like a delightful and happy little girl.

So what if some of the outfits were tacky? Also very normal at family weddings.

I didn't expect anything more classy: there doesn't seem anything classy about either family. The Beckham's values seem to be about flashing the cash with their multiple houses, frequent holidays, numerous cars and a yacht. They appear to be a close family but then again, who knows? The brand is now built around the whole family, thrusting their kids into the media before they're old enough to consent, so we wouldn't know if it's genuine or not.
A massively indulgent display of wealth seems entirely in keeping really.

If you are one of these celebrities and post pictures on social media the aim is to have people tell you how wonderful you look. You will of course have many besotted ‘fans’ tell that they do.

Others will be more honest and tell them that no they don’t look all that. That’s when the celebrity will then announce their fragile mental health so that negative comments will cease and they can carry on lapping up the positive attention.

It’s a hard one really.

He doesn’t seem academic, yet he has tried different things, which haven’t worked out.
He’s very young, far too young to get married, he needs to live his twenties and find his feet and way in life, before settling down. He has the rest of his life to settle down into humdrum domesticity.
Probably better to pay his way through university and have something to build on instead of depending on Istagram as a livelihood.

I imagine her parent’s expectations are met as long as he isn’t after her money and doesn’t take drugs and he comes across as a nice enough guy.

I read the Peltz dads wiki entry, he dropped out of university, went into the family olive oil, oops sorry, I mean frozen food business, and within a few years turned it into a billion dollar food empire ( including Cadbury’s, shock horror). He doesn’t sound the sort who would put up with any nonsense from Brooklyn. I expect he will find a niche opening for his new son in law in the business, designer sandwiches maybe,or a burger van, and keep a close eye on things……..

Jealous of what, exactly? Brooklyn's cooking skills and amazing photography portfolio?

It could all be solved by The Beckham's simply fucking off and keeping entirely out of the public eye, but they won't do that because they're fame hungry, attention seeking money grabbers. Live by the sword, die by the sword. They also didn't have to try and mould their offspring into mini celebrities either. There are plenty of A listers who kids I wouldn't recognise if I saw them in the street.

And therein lies the heart of it for me.

Children don't choose the parents they're born to and it's all kinds of wrong to decide for them that they're going to be thrust into the media to promote the family brand. Many celebrities don't do it: they protect their children as a good parent should and we don't know what their children look like, what they do, what they say.

The Beckham kids may well be nicely behaved and polite but imo the parents have failed spectacularly in one of the most fundamental things: respecting their children enough to allow them to live their own lives away from the spotlight

This! The bridesmaids look very age appropriate. Nice to see girls in comfy flats instead of having to clop around in heels they can't walk in.

What a lot of gossip over a 23 year old. Yep, it might be too young or it might work out. I expect he has the same chance as anyone who marries because to be honest, who really knows? I know people I thought would go the distance who didnt and I know the opposite. No point trying to guess.

I think the Beckhams are a lovely family. Brooklyn apparently working in the cafe down their road at the age of 16, work installed in all the children. Yea, reportedly David had an affair with the nanny but it was never proved and they seem to have made it work. They seem like a nice family, good on them
