That was a tricky one today!

Over 200 guesses today! I didn’t get a green until 180 in and I don’t think I’d have ever got there without your clues. Special thanks to @Doubleraspberry, you got me over the line 😁

Well I think this one will go down a lot better. Various ways to get there, I happened to find a rather nice one.

I solved Semantle #68 in 42 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 7.45. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #11. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 36.14 (920/1000).

Got it in 139, was at 981 after 59 guesses so a bit annoyed but hey!

Bit annoyed because I would have got it in 30 but I accidentally missed out a letter in the word and it accepted the misspelling but with ??? Rather than green and a similarity of 75 (which is higher than the actual word). It took me exhausting all the other words from the same stem (plus a few more lower synonyms) to notice my error. Oh well - much better than my 197 guesses yesterday…

Much less painful today, though I did get stuck for a while on 876. Had to jump back a bit to move up to the solution!
