I solved Semantle #68 in 38 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 16.05. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #28. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 67.45 (999/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Got a very low green (41) on my ninth guess then nothing until suddenly got 995 out of nowhere on guess 54. It seemed out of nowhere anyway but I can see now that it relates to 41.

I got it by looking up one of my high greens in the dictionary to see what nuances there were to the meaning, and picked a word that was used to describe it. I wasn’t on that track so I wouldn’t have got it otherwise.

I got a high ??? that turned out to be a typo of the answer 🙄 It took me about 20 more guesses to figure it out 😂

I don't really want proper hints this early in the day, but can anyone tell me if 977 is helpful, and if I should be thinking of it as a noun, verb, or adjective?

No clues needed today, though one of my regular starting words was in the 700s which sent me completely the wrong way for 30 or so guesses.
