I'm stuck after 5 guesses. I have 2 letters in the right place and a yellow one, but I've eliminated so many other letters that I can't make a word from what is left.

Hi @BarbaraofSeville - I've always found using the letter "x" in place of the letters I don't already know helps me figure out what the word is.

I am very happy with a 4 for that one. Great word and today actually felt like a puzzle as I sat and worked it out. Really enjoyed todays.

@youngestisapsycho Hard Mode is where "Any revealed hints must be used in subsequent guesses" you can chose it in settings (click on the cog wheel) It then puts a * on the end of the Wordle statistics that you copy across.
Looking at your grids, I think you already play it like that. But it does make it really hard if there are a number of options and you can't use an elimination word.

Couldn't see it after 4th try so 5th was to try to identify more letters and it worked. Just!
