My second career 3. My two starting words together covered all letters, so I was looking only for the order

Used an elimination in word 5 to pick between two possibles.

Likewise. I’m thinking an Americanism? I had to Google it to see if it had another meaning. I only got it as no other letters fitted

WingBingo · 05/05/2022 06:49

Amazed I got that in 3. Didn’t realise it was a word and not sure why I tried it.

BarbaraofSeville · 05/05/2022 06:50

I didn't get it because I didn't realise it was an actual word. But on googling, I can see a couple of non 'name' definitions that make sense.

I suppose the words being American rather than British/International English is something to be mindful of and I believe is something that has tripped people outside the US up before?

TheAbbotOfUnreason · 05/05/2022 07:00

I swithered over that middle letter and plumped for the wrong one in the second guess.

Knew the word was admissible because I’ve seen it used in other word games recently (Octordle or Quordle).

I also struggled and didn't think it was a word but it tried anyway.
