NC because this post will definitely be recognisable to friends that have spoken about this recently (👋🏻 If you’re reading).

We were talking about different things that appear in different places in the country.

Where you live, can you order:

• Spice on your chips (not salt & pepper chips, or chilli chips, but Chip Spice),
• A pizza platter, or,
• Lemony minted cabbage?

And where are you?

Never heard of anyone. From South London, live in Yorkshire , have lived in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire plus abroad.

I'm up north and spice is readily available, usually in Piccadilly gardens, it's not something that goes on chips though.

Hull-Chip Spice! Wonderful stuff.

None of them - in the midlands. Like the sound of them though !

Not heard of any of those. South London.

Not heard of the cabbage unless you mean the stuff in a dinner kebab which is heaven.

Chip spice? What is this miraculous stuff and where can I find some? You can keep the pizza and cabbage thanks.

Yorkshire. I can get chip spice, but have never heard of a pizza platter as a specific order or lemony minted cabbage (but the cabbage sounds like something I want to try).

I REALLY want a pizza platter now!!!! Chicken and mushroom with extra Tom sauce please. Would even spice your chips!

Platter is half pizza, with fries and coleslaw. Heaven

Chip spice is one of my favourite things discovered at uni many years ago.

Chip spice is the dogs bollocks.
I hate getting fries from a takeaway elsewhere in the country as they're crap without.

We call it red salt.

Schwartz do a chip seasoning which looks like it has the same ingredients though, I use that at home!

Not heard of the others but I think chip spice is called red salt where I'm from. But you can only get it from takeaways that do pizzas/ kebabs/ fried chicken. Not chippies. Liverpool.

We can get chip spice, they call it red salt here. I didn't know it had MSG in though!
Can't get the other two. The cabbage sounds like something I'd eat, is it a salad type of thing?
