Is this Alan Rickman?

Watching Hope Springs on Disney+ (Colin Firth, Heather Graham, 2003, bit crap) and I’m sure I’ve spotted Alan Rickman, but only for a second or two.

He’s not in the credits, I’ve googled and can’t find anything.
Is it really him or a looky likey?
For reference I’ve included a photo of Suspected AR with a photo of Real AR taken at a similar angle from the same year.

I see what you mean as the angle of the head is similar, but if you look at the jawline, hairline, eyebrows, overall face shape, nose and upper lip separately between the two images they are different.

This is, by the way, the kind of conversation DH and I have where we both end up furiously googling image after image to work out which of us has wonky eyes. Smile

Really don’t think so either.

I’d have guessed it was an unflattering shot of Andrew McCarthy if he’d had a face full of fillers, but I just googled and he’s aged too gracefully for that image.

He's not on the IMDB credits and they would surely mention him if he was in it as he was well known in 2003.

Is the character Mr Golfer? If so the actor is Howard Storey. I can't find a profile picture of him but the face on photo looks similar. www.imdb.com/name/nm0832467/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_i14

To be sure - look at the ears. Ears are very individual.

Yes the budget version. I once saw a picture of Cheryl Cole with her cousin . Was struck by how much difference money made.
