Is this Alan Rickman?

Watching Hope Springs on Disney+ (Colin Firth, Heather Graham, 2003, bit crap) and I’m sure I’ve spotted Alan Rickman, but only for a second or two.

He’s not in the credits, I’ve googled and can’t find anything.
Is it really him or a looky likey?

@FridayiminlovewithRobertSmith Wash your mouth out!! Andrew McCarthy is and was one of the most beautiful men on the planet. Pretty In Pink still takes me back to being 15 years old and completely besotted. Funnily enough my DH felt exactly the same about Molly Ringwald in his teenage days ! Something for everyone on nostalgia movie night!

He would definitely be in the credits if it was him. He was very popular at that point and would have cost quite a bit of money. Why would they pay him just to do nothing?

@Tana433 No no you misunderstand me! It looks like a bad Andrew McCarthy. The real one is scrumptious - I wasn’t about at the time but I watched him in Catholic Boys during my adolescence and will always have a bit of thing for him! (Please tell me there have never been any scandals!)

Howard Storey is in this film, but I don't think that's him there. I found the trailer of Hope Springs and there's a brief scene on a golf course, so I assume that's why Storey's character is called Mr Golfer - doesn't look the same as the OP's actor.

Annoyingly now when you do an image search for "Howard Storey Hope Springs", one of the things that comes up is this very thread!
