Semantle episode 3

Somehow we've almost filled 2 threads already so here is thread 3. I still need a distraction from the news, and Semantle certainly fits the bill.

To understand what I'm on about followthis link. It's a word game like Wordle in that you need to find the secret word of the day, but it works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, one of the secret words was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I still can't see it @ErrolTheDragon . The only 900s I've got are 940, 945 and 992. My other greens are mainly in the 700 and 800s. It took me until my 6th guess this morning to get Wordle too so I think my teething toddler and lack of sleep is getting to my brain.

Still at 996 - it's been hours and I still just keep going down! I have 996, 988, 967, 937, 934, if anyone can give me a hint please

I solved Semantle #43 in 75 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 2.78. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #28. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 17.22. semantle.novalis.org/

I solved Semantle #43 in 302 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 2.78. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #59. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 67.51 (998/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I’m still stuck on 987, I’ve got to that from 942 and 982.

Any hints would be much appreciated

I solved Semantle #43 in 136 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 7.34. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #49. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 48.08 (987/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I don't know how I feel about this! No hints so I guess I'm pleased but that's it done boom haha

Finally got into the greens on guess 25 at 596. Worked up to 960 and stuck again

why can't I get this?! Grrrr
