I definitely have a tiny dimpling underneath my left breast. I can only see it when I lift my arm as I'm a bit on the droopy side tbh... would this need looking at do you think!?!
Feel a bit shaken by it.

Ring gp, get it chrcked, fingers crossed all. Ok, dont put off what hopefully isnt bad news but will make a huge difference with early intervention if it is bad news.

Good luck op, hope its ok

Ginandplatonic · 01/03/2022 09:03

That’s not very obvious in that position - well done for noticing! Any change in your breast is worth getting checked out - I’d make a GP appointment.

Nishkin · 01/03/2022 09:03

Yes get it checked. I saw dimpling. Went to GP who felt a lump when I couldn’t- turned out to be nothing of concern, but I think you should get it checked

jclm · 01/03/2022 09:06

Yes agree with pp, get it checked so that you are not worried

OrlandointheWilderness · 01/03/2022 09:06

It's definitely there isn't it. I thought maybe I was imagining it.

AuldFox · 01/03/2022 09:15

Nope. I can definitely see it. Please see your GP urgently. There may be a lump underneath pulling on the skin. It’s likely to be completely harmless but needs checking out.

Isaisa · 01/03/2022 09:16

Always best to get things checked. Probably nothing to worry about but if it is something that needs dealing with, you’ll be glad you’re getting it checked

singlepringlenotbychoice · 01/03/2022 09:17

Definitely get it checked out, you won't be able to settle a as you're obviously concerned which is understandable.

It could be completely innocent but it's worth the piece of mind to get it checked over. Phone your gp today.

OrlandointheWilderness · 01/03/2022 09:19

Thank you everyone

Get it checked by your doctor ASAP; it's not worth the risk xx dimpling can be a sign of something ominous, but that doesn't mean it is, so try not to panic and go for peace of mind xx

Paranoidandroidmarvin · 01/03/2022 09:24

Thankyou for being brave and posting this. I wasn’t aware this was something I had to look for. But will from now on. I not the best at checking. But I need to.

OrlandointheWilderness · 01/03/2022 09:29

You are welcome @Paranoidandroidmarvin
Yes it can be a sign.

I noticed a change in the texture of the skin and was seen v quickly by GP and then referred to the breast clinic. It was about 3weeks from actually calling GP to make an apt and being seen at the breast clinic so don't delay. I then had to wait a further week to have a scan.
So it does take a bit of time, act quickly.

For me luckily this time it was due to breasts settling down post breast feeding and some small milk debris left in the breast (pipes or whatever's in there). But they also have a card where I can do in at any time in the next 6months if I notice anything, without a referral.

Hope it's nothing OP well done for noticing

OrlandointheWilderness · 01/03/2022 09:41

You can't get a GP appointment over the phone at our surgery so I've filled out the econsult thing. Hopefully I can be seen soon. Thank you everyone.

I would give it a day,go braless if you can. It may just be a mark from the bra but if it's still there tomorrow then see your GP.

OrlandointheWilderness · 01/03/2022 09:44

Ah no it was there first thing before the bra went on! Photo was taken when I got back from the school run, hence the marks.

LetsGoCrazyPurpleBanana · 01/03/2022 09:46

Ah ok. Try not to worry though but see your Dr 🙂

longtompot · 01/03/2022 10:22

I can see the dimpling in your photo. As the advice goes, anything that is unusual for your breasts is worth getting checked. I hope it's nothing op

Cas112 · 01/03/2022 10:36

Yes get it looked at just to be on safe side, I had the same and breast clinic checked and it was fine nothing to be worried about

OrlandointheWilderness · 01/03/2022 16:06

Appointment at 4.30.

Mummysgonetobed · 01/03/2022 16:42

Good luck op. I’ve just had similar along with a couple of lumps. Seen in breast clinic within 2 weeks and thankfully all ok and nothing sinister going on. Hope the same for you.
