Helping DP downsize

I need some suggestions on how to start helping DP downsize. Every room is full as DF is a hoarder. I don't know where to start or how to go about it.

Only DM will be able to help due to DF being unwell.

Do you have to do the unpacking at the other end? Sorry if I missed it but are your parents physically incapable? If not I’d leave them to it, you’ve done more than enough getting them to this point! I wouldn’t be doing any more sorting either - from now on stuff would just be getting chucked but presumably they won’t be moving out of their new place? I appreciate that’s easier said than done tho!

My dad is pretty much incapable and I don't want to leave it to my mum. It's too much and she's stressed and tearful so I'm trying to take some of that away from her. Had a whole day off today and I'm at a music festival. Just put having a break because my feet are killing. Rock n roll

Thank you. Feeling a bit more human now. Slept normally for the first time in ages. Going to start helping to unpack tomorrow

The inside is definitely getting there. Looking for storage ideas. I've bought under the bed bags for one room and the main room has a divan. I've got nice boxes for the top of the wardrobes for bedding etc. I'd welcome any suggestions. The outside is a different matter though. Man shed stuff everywhere 😩

I’m not a great one for storage ideas.
We did get built in wardrobes and got professional advice with that.
Maybe you could Marie Condo (Kondo?) some ideas.?
