Pears. My dd is good at wordle but she does it differently to me. She puts in her first word, then on the second line she puts in another word, not using any of the letters that she got right in the first one iykwim, thereby maximising the letters she finds. She nearly always gets it on the 3rd go, while my average is 4.

That's my approach. It's not just about maximising how many you find, it's at least as much about maximising elimination. I still don't usually get it in 3, but did today.
