Mine is ankle. No idea why, I’m sure there are better ones!

Adieu

Adieu. Followed by baton if the a is right but in the wrong place.

Reach and then stump.

Tares

I tried adieu and it really didn't help me today, going back to my usual, pears or pairs.

Dream

Stare

Tried to find a word using the most common vowels and Consonants.

I always start with the previous days wordle, so I won't ever get wordle in 1 but I do tend to get it in 2 or 3 goes.

Soare

Chaos first, and if that draws a complete blank, my second word is urine.

Guise

I can barely remember the word once I’ve completed it. Certainly not by the next day.

Ideas. Best to get as many vowels in as you can

Arise. Ailed. Media. Louse. Ideal.
All have three vowels.

I have a handful that I use: raise, resin, stair, pearl and names.

Earth or House

I use a different word everyday and it's usually quite a random word. I sometimes regret this technique though. Ive got the word everyday so far though.

Me neither, I chose random words each day, and quite like the process of choosing one 😂 I had no idea that some people use the same word every day,

I don't think it makes the slightest difference. I did some archive wordles using some of the words suggested. It made no difference- got them all in 4 apart from "sissy" which took 6.

"Sissy" or"ninny" or "nanny" or "daddy" or "mummy" or anything with x and z would be poor choices but other than that any 5 letter where all the letters are different is as good as any.
