Vardy's phone was accidentally dropped into the North Sea... Yeah right!

I think RV just wants to pay CR back for the public humiliation. She doesn't seem to mind the additional humiliation. Just wants to get revenge on CR.

Surely that must be a factor is CR's defence? If she were that bothered about her defamed character she wouldn't be destroying it herself further in court.

I feel for the Vardy kids as I can't imagine it's a nice atmosphere at home.

Although saying that I'm assuming JV would be embarrassed about his wife's actions. But maybe he doesn't care and they're both as bad as each other?!

It seems like RV may have been selling stories about a lot of people, WAGs and footballers. It also seems like maybe other people suspected her of doing it, so maybe others were glad that CR called her out publicly.

I don’t think CR accused her just based on the Insta stories. It seems like this may have been going on for a long time.

I think it’s pretty shitty to be selling stories about your friends and husband’s team-mates to the tabloids. People in the public eye really value their privacy. So, if RV did sell stories, then I have no sympathy for her.

I don't get how RV can claim that CR has damaged her reputation by accusing her of selling stories, if it's a well documented fact that she has historically sold stories?

This would have all been forgotten about, if Rebekah had just kept a low profile for a while, and not sued.

She has now made herself a laughing stock. I think there is a moral tale, that she should have just turned the other cheek, accepted she'd been called out, and moved forward with her life, rather than let it define her. Instead Rebekah has got herself all worked up, consumed by some sense of false injustice, and it's backfiring massively.

Just happened in court, RV is the gift that keeps on giving.

Wow, she is really throwing her agent to the wolves this morning. From the BBC report:

Referring to the text about delaying the group for 10 minutes, Mr Sherborne said to Mrs Vardy: "You were terrified you are going to lose your exclusive so you do everything you can to stall them."
"That's not true", said Vardy. She said the messages showed that she was "trying to get her [Ms Watt] off my back so I could put my phone away and enjoy my evening. It had been a crazy couple of days."

Whilst both are awful I think Vardy is despicable for the Peter Andre chipolata manhood story.

Whoever published her chipolata story thought it was acceptable for the public to ridicule Peter Andre but I wonder if it was a man selling a story regarding an unflattering description of a woman's nether regions, they would have published it?

RV's comments to the media re Peter Andre confirm my first impression of her.
The whole case is an embarrassing sh*t show which she brought on herself.
It must be difficult for JV. His family apparently didn't attend his wedding - nor did her mother either. 🧐

Because I'm vindictive like that, they're all a bunch of muppets imo for allowing this whole saga to come to court, so all of them deserve to get some stick for it.

You have to wonder whether RV is regretting her actions of bringing this ludicrous case to court now? And that's even with the missing phone, missing data and non working laptop containing deleted files. Plus missing/too fragile PR person.

But she's doing an utterly splendid job of showing herself to be stupid beyond measure. I loved the "can't recall" whether she switched phones or not, had "been drinking" regarding the photo line up so couldn't remember etc. etc.

One has to wonder when she bursts into spontaneous tears whether she realises that this is one monumental error of judgement this whole sorry saga.

Whatever the outcome, if she truly believes that she is going to be vindicated after all of this she really is delusional beyond measure. Or there again perhaps just very, very stupid.

I still can't quite get over how ludicrous this all is. This would have all been consigned to ancient WAG history if she hadn't embarked on this farcical legal action.

She will end up friendless. Her agent who is being thrown under the bus will have something to say about it all. Will she have to give evidence?

I think she's gone to far in her own mind now to not see it through.
I do think she's delusional now.

She should have settled and been done with it.
